About the Author  - Dianne (Taylor) Palovcik
Dianne’s life-long desire to write a novel began after retirement. A novice about creative writing, she began her writing education and her first novel simultaneously.
Dianne’s first novel, In Trouble (2020) was a Writers Guild of Alberta Top 20 in 2020.
Dianne’s passion for writing resulted in two additional novels, Not All Widows Wear Black (2022) and Old Wounds (2024).
Dianne's work focuses on Canadian history, bringing it to life with relatable characters, strong storylines and detailed settings.
Dianne lives in Alberta, Canada. She is a graduate of Acadia University and completed studies at the University of Alberta, University of San Francisco and Lakeland College. When not writing, she enjoys time with family and friends and travelling with her husband.

A bit about Old Wounds...
It's 1917 and Canada is at war but not all the deaths are occurring in Europe. Detective Will Henderson has four murder files on his desk. One is very personal.
