Interested in media production? We have two camps coming up that will be perfect for you. No previous experience needed. Registration is required. For Teens: Make a Short Film at Studio21c Learn the ins and outs of producing a short film in this five day series. Work as a group to make a 3- to 5- minute film from start to finish. You'll learn everything from scripting and storyboarding to filming in a studio and finally post-production editing. Afterwards, we'll screen the film for your family and friends. - Library 21c

For Adults: Podcasting at Studio916 We will show you the basics of setting up the recording equipment, how to do effective interviews, and more. After that, you will learn how to do editing including adjusting the audio, adding sound effects and music, and other techniques. - Sand Creek

Maker Days (formerly Makerspace Open Houses) return! Come to the makerspace to create fun spring crafts and explore what these creative spaces have to offer! Experiment with watercolors, fabric, paint, and other projects to give as a gift or keep for yourself. All ages are welcome, and all materials will be provided. - Library 21c:

Homeschool Resource Fair Are you a homeschool family or interested in getting started in homeschooling? Our annual Homeschool Resource Fair features a wide variety of local exhibitors offering educational and extracurricular opportunities for homeschooling families. Stop by and chat with representatives from organizations and businesses that offer homeschooling services and support, including arts and science activities, sports groups, enrichment programs, tutoring, support groups, and more. - Fri., April 10, 10-1pm

There are Discovery Kits for all ages, from toddlers to adults. Many of them are designed for kids under 9, making them perfect for those too young to be in the makerspaces. They are also great for homeschoolers and for activities to do outside of the library. They are stored at Cheyenne Mountain Library, East Library, Library 21c, Monument Library, and Sand Creek Library but can be reserved for pickup at any PPLD location. They check out for one week and can be renewed if there are no holds.
