Library Temporarily Closed Again
|
|
Here we go again... As of April 7, 2021 the Canmore Public Library will be temporarily closed to the public until further notice. In order to slow the spread of COVID-19 and bend the curve of the current third wave, the Alberta Government announced new restrictions late yesterday afternoon, Tuesday April 6th, that require libraries to close. These restrictions went into effect at midnight and therefore as of this morning, the Library will be closed to the public again. That doesn't mean you can't still get your books! We are happy to announce that the library will still be offering contactless curbside pickup by appointment with no disruption of that service. Available days/times for curbside (Monday through Saturday) can be found on our website and appointments for curbside can be booked on the website's events page. Our e-resources are available 24/7 to anyone with a current library membership and our online virtual programs will also continue to run. Staff can be reached by phone 403-678-2468 to provide assistance and answer any questions. Not sure how curbside pick up works? Watch this short video to see how it's done!
