Crossfield Municipal Library The Crossfield Municipal Library is looking to fill the listed Board positions. If you have a passion for literacy and want to make our beautiful new Library the heart of Crossfield, please consider volunteering!: Directors: provides input on decisions regarding library and board matters Treasurer: oversees the finances of the Library Board, which involves the annual budget and reports, paying bills, assisting with grants, and being the liaison between the Board and Town Office for payroll and bookkeeping. Programs: oversees the development of programs for all age groups and input on grant applications. Fundraising: coordinates ideas and events to help raise funds for Library operations. Community Links Intake Services - Crossfield Community Links is excited to announce that starting in September 2019, Crossfield residents can access Intake Services through the Crossfield Municipal Library (1210 Railway St.). A Community Links staff member will be on site the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 10 am – 1 pm and services will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Intake staff can provide information, referrals and advocacy to help you connect to government programs, housing supports, basic needs supports (including access to food), parenting supports, family/domestic violence supports, counselling and senior support services. Intake Services can also connect you to our partner agencies for additional supports, including, but not limited to: Canadian Tire Jumpstart, Kids Up Front, Best Beginnings and KidSport. Plan to stop by the Library to connect on one of the following upcoming dates: - Wednesday, November 13
