Community Links Updates – December 2020
Intake Services
Crossfield and Rocky View County residents in need of assistance with government applications, referrals to community services and/or access to Community Links programming including: parent consultations, family violence supports, counselling and seniors services, can receive information from the Intake staff.
Crossfield Intake Services will be available at the Crossfield Municipal Library (1210 Railway St, Crossfield) the second Wednesday of each month from
10:00 am-1:00 pm. Please call 403-620-0778.
Counselling Services
Regular Counselling Services continue to be available over the phone or via Zoom. Drop-In Counselling is available on Thursdays from 2:30-7:00pm and Fridays from 1:00-3:00pm by phone or Zoom. An intake must be done prior to the session and a sliding scale fee applies.
Family Violence Supports are available over the phone or via Zoom. We encourage victims of Family Violence to reach out to us for support – we can help. The 24-hour Family Violence Helpline is available 24/7 at 403.234.7233 (SAFE). In an emergency, call 911.
Seniors Keep In Touch Program
The Keep In Touch Program connects seniors in the community with volunteers who can provide a weekly social phone call. If you know of someone aged 55+ who would enjoy a regular phone conversations with an excited volunteer, please contact Community Links to find out more!
Parents and Caregivers can check out our YouTube channel for educational and fun videos, including stories and songs, as well as resources on parenting through Covid-19 and beyond.
