Congratulations!! Summer Reading 2017 was a huge success. As a community, we read over 1,000,000 minutes. Our closing program was a big hit with the families who attended. We had a bouncy house, dunk tank, free popcorn, music and outdoor games. We also gave away over 150 prizes. Thank you so very much for your contribution in helping us to Build A Better World! ~Erin Moore, Director of Community Awareness, JCPL

TRAIN YOUR BRAIN Express Your Creativity Do you enjoy drawing, painting, singing, making jewelry, or writing poetry? These are just a few of the ways we can tap into our imagination. All of these ways of expressing creativity encourage the mind to see the world in new ways and nurture problem solving skills. Sophia Loren once said, “There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.” |
