Teen Talk
April 2019

Hello From the Teen Room!

It is hard for me to believe that April is already here. I know that I say that a lot in my newsletters, but it never ceases to amaze me. Did anybody play a good April Fool's joke on you? Thankfully, I was not a victim to the pranks and jokes of April Fool's Day. I remember when I was younger and my brother would play jokes on me and it would always upset me. I will admit to not always being a good sport about having planks played on me. The weather is finally cooperating, thankfully, now is the time to soak up that wonderful Vitamin D. Take a book outside and read (just don't drop it in the water or leave it behind).

She Read What?!
When the Moon was ours
by Anna-Marie McLemore

This book was so amazing! The writing was beautiful and the imagery was fantastic. I could not put this book down because I did not want to step away from the world that Anne-Marie had created.  This book is about magic, love, myths, tragedy, and much more.

This book is available for check out in the Teen Room!
