Big Library News!! No Fines, No Frowns, No Fuss! As of June 3 we will no longer charge fines for late returns. You will need return your books and other items on time, and pay for lost materials, but no worries about extra charges tacked on. We will send you an email reminder of your item’s due date. If no one is waiting for it, you can renew it by calling, stopping by or visiting CommunityLibrary.Net/Catalog. Please return or renew your item on time to keep your card active. For those with overdue fines now, we are happy to waive them, as long as everything has been returned. Ask us for details or visit CommunityLibrary.Net/FineFree.

Your Story is Important! We are all about stories this summer and we’d love to help you share yours. StoryCorps has an app that makes it easy and you can reserve iPads and mics at your Athol, Spirit Lake and Post Falls libraries. Teens! We Need Your Help We're on the lookout for teen volunteers. Those who will be entering 7th through 12th grade in the fall and who attend one of six volunteer orientation sessions are eligible. Volunteers will assist with programs, plan social media posts, read with younger children, make book displays, plan teen events, and more. Every teen who volunteers for eight hours or more will be invited to the volunteer party in September. Please join us at the Orientation Session on Saturday, June 1st, 10:00-11:30am. Did You Know? Members looking to download a new book will find the process much easier through Libby. Overdrive, the library’s e-book and audio book vendor, created the app for Android, iOS, and Windows 10 devices. After downloading the app, browse the collection and borrow a title and, when prompted, enter your library card number to complete the loan.
