Athol Librarian of the Month 📒 Lindsey Receives the Golden Book Award! Lindsey joined the Athol Library September 2016, and is more fun to work with every shift! Lindsey has made herself valuable with her creativity and its application to library programs and special occasions. She creates signs and posters, drawing and painting wonderful images that highlight the library happenings and light up our library spaces. Plus, Lindsey's sense of humor is terrific! Thank you, Lindsey! We are glad to know and work with you.

Gwen Gwen and her family moved to Idaho from South Carolina about five years ago, bought some land, and learning how to raise cows, goats, and chickens.They enjoy exploring Northern Idaho through various hiking and camping trips. Being a homeschool mom, Gwen has learned the value of using the resources at the library. Now that she is a librarian, she hopes to help others discover these same great resources. In her free time she likes to read historical fiction or look through cookbooks to find some new recipes to try. Her favorite quote is: Soli Deo Gloria For the Glory of God Alone

Spelling Bee, Saturday, January 25th Athol Community Center, 4:00-6:00pm Adults & Kids! The Athol Library Bee will be held on the 25th; Spirit Lake. Rathdrum and Post Falls Libraries will have their Bees, and the final competition will be in February! Come show off your spelling smarts and help Athol win!

Coding for Early Learners Saturday, January 25th, 11:00am Early coding = Early literacy. You will not want to miss this special event! Kids will get to play with robots and each child who attends will receive a free book. Hands on fun geared for ages 2-6.

Kids Game Days Thursday, Jan 2nd, 10-3:00 & Friday, Jan 3rd, 1-3:30 Up for checkers or a chess tournament? Maybe you want to challenge your friend to a game of Exploding Kittens. What ever you're interested in, Ms. Bethany is here for you! Other options for entertainment will be Legos, art, & bracelet weaving. Snacks provided. BRING A FRIEND!!
