Traffic Light Completed: Spokane & Mullan Post Falls Highway District installed a new traffic light at the intersection of Mullan and Spokane. Drivers are cautioned to be careful at the entrances and exits, especially with school in session. The light has not gone active at the time of this release but is expected to go live soon.

Post Falls English Language Classes Tuesdays: Feb 5th & 19th, 6:00 p.m Is English your second, third, or even fourth language? Do you just think it's strange sometimes? Join TESOL linguist Verena Weiss and a community of learners who are working on learning the nuances of the English language. Participants will work on fluency, vocabulary, and grammar.

Join us for our READOPOLY contest and Read Your Way to Prizes! Monday, January 7 through Monday, April 8 To play Readopoly, read a library book from the Readopoly categories, and receive an entry to weekly prizes and to the Grand Prize (a $25 Amazon gift card) for each one. River City Garden Club "Tools and Tasks: What to Tackle Before Spring" Wednesday, February 20th, 6:30 pm Join retired urban forester and manager of the Post Falls Community Garden, Nina Ekberg, to talk about what you can do for your garden in these wily days of winter. Find out what to do from now until planting time, learn about some little known tools to add to help you along the way, and take away some terrific tips to keep your tools in tip-top condition.

Liberty Seeds Saturday, February 23rd, 1:00 p.m. We all learn about the Revolutionary War in school; where it was fought, who fired the first shots, and Paul Revere’s famous ride. Is what we learn in school the whole story or even the real story? The Revolutionary War Veterans Association’s, Andy and Reina Netzel will shed light on the story of how our nation was born—the story that historians have discovered. This all-ages program covers the birth of our nation and the events surrounding the battles of Lexington and Concord.

Book Babies Tuesdays, 10:30 - 11:30 am, Birth - 18 months Help your little one develop their early learning skills at Book Babies. This language and music filled program is fun for babies AND their grown-ups. Play time and baby friendly art projects each week. 15 minute program with 45 minutes of play.

Little Renaissance Kids Wednesdays, 10:30 - 11:30 am, 3 - 6 years Preschoolers are curious kids. Indulge their growing minds at Little Renaissance Kids storytime where we'll read one story together, then spend the rest of the time independently exploring weekly topics from the world of fine art, math & science, world cultures, and active play.

It Club Wednesdays, 3:30 - 4:30 pm, 1 - 5th Grades Kids are invited to join us after-school for a program that does “IT" all- from science and technology to art and exploration. Each It Club is a new adventure and we encourage you to bring a friend. Snacks provided.

Bonjour, Mes Amis! Thursdays, 10:30 - 11:00 am, 3 - 5 years It’s never too early to start learning a foreign language, and we will help your child get a jump-start on being multilingual with this story time filled with books, songs and poems—all in French. Join us for 30 minutes of French fun. Program held in the Children’s Room.

Music & Movement Thursdays, 11:30 - 12:30 pm, 3 - 5 years Get moving with your child to 'music play'! Learn how moving together with your child to music helps to develop their creativity, pre-reading skills, increases their confidence and more. Children will also be introduced to a variety of musical instruments and concepts. Sign up is required. to register.
