The 📒 Golden Book Award 📒 for October
Goes to Gwen!!
Gwen has taken the quieter days of Covid to organize our shelves, which is always needed. What a luxury it's been to find a book exactly where it's supposed to be! Gwen is valuable in all aspects of her work - she's great with our members, is a team player, contributes ideas for new ways of doing tasks, and is always putting her job before anything else. We love her 💛
Thank you, Gwen for ALL that you do!
Name Our Dragon!! 🐉
Thanks to the Friends of the Library, we have a new addition to our library team! It's really cool, too. It is a flying dragon hovering in the center ceiling area inside our library! We're having a contest to name him/her, so come in and give us your suggestion. The winner will receive a gift card. P.S. Not all dragons are ferocious.
How are You handling the challenging times of Covid?
Lindsey is always happy to help Ms. Bethany with Grab 'n Go Kits. Here Lindsey is working on a "Disguise the Turkey" project! It's always good when we have acitivities to work on when the library is quiet 👍. These fun turkey kits are available for pick up.
Gwen has had a little extra time these days to READ, of all things! (We often hear how nice our job must be as a librarians, reading all the time, but honestly, reading is something we rarely get to do.) Turns out, we have had more time to read and Gwen has been able to research topics to help her daughter with school work.
