Wear Your Face Covering

Face Coverings Required in Kootenai County

Let's maintain calm and kindness until this passes.

While visiting us, face coverings are required by Panhandle Health District (PHD). Ask a librarian for a face shield or mask if you do not have one.

In this newsletter, find great options for enjoying your library.

Read the PHD Board of Health Emergency Order for details on when, where, and who needs to wear a face covering. Access current information about Kootenai County on the PHD COVID-19 webpage.

Offering Many Options
Option 1: Self-Service Curbside

Follow these easy steps:
  1. Place a Hold Online: Call your librarian or use the CIN system to "place a hold" on a great book. Select the district library location that is most convenient for you.
  2. Request Curbside Service: A librarian will call you when your hold is ready. At that time, request curbside service (otherwise we assume you will come inside).
  3. Arrive and then call the library.
Each location is open during normal business hours!

Option 2: Reading Challenges for Kids & Adults

Kids can win brag tags and free books for summer reading!
Track your child's reading progress on Beanstack. Then, come to the library to redeem your prizes! Ask your library about curbside pick up if needed.

Adults can win gift cards for fun local activities! Sign up for the Read 20 in 20 on Beanstack. It's a fun challenge with great rewards!
