Branch News In addition to the programs highlighted, we have our normal, Friday children’s concerts with Ms. Kim (12/12) and Miss Sarah (12/19), alternating with a Toddler Dance Party! We also have a 3-D modeling program on Sunday, 12/28, where attendees can create 3-D models on their laptops using Tinkercad. Our Big STEAMers program – science, tech, engineering, art, and math – is back on alternating Thursday afternoons for elementary-school-age kids, and we have a special combined preschool and elementary-age STEAMers program on conductivity (“spark & play!”) at 4pm on 12/23. Although the Branch will be closing early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve and closed entirely on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, we will be open the rest of the days of winter break. Stop in for our movie matinees all during that week, as well as crafts, chess, game night, storytimes, and more! Be sure to check out our December calendar for more details. As a last bit of news, our fall/winter teen volunteers (ages 14+) finish their hours this month, and applications will be released mid-December for those wishing to apply for our spring session (Jan-May).
