Create blanket forts, giant Lego castles, and/or giant Magna-Tile structures together in our big meeting rooms. Work together as a family, or collaborate with other groups to see what you can do! Miss Sarah will kick off the program with a children’s concert at 10:30am, followed by a variety of fairy/magical crafts and activities. Costumes are encouraged! Classes are intended for adult learners, registration is required prior to class. Create a letterhead and a document template. Use Mail Merge to create labels and form letters.

Summer Reading Program - Color Our World!The MCLS Summer Reading Program is back! Registration begins Monday, June 16th and prizes will be handed out between Monday, June 23 and Saturday, August 9. Don't forget, the SRP is for all ages -- so we encourage everyone to get involved!

Branch NewsThe Wednesday Film Festival is featuring the work of Natalie Portman, and takes place Wednesdays at 2:00 pm. 6/4: V for Vendetta (2006) Rated R, 132 minutes. 6/11: A Tale of Love and Darkness (2015) Rated PG-13, 99 minutes. 6/18: The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) Rated PG-13, 115 minutes. 6/25: Annihilation (2018) Rated R, 114 minutes. Summer Reading, our 7-week-long, free, reading incentive program, starts this month! Pick up your reading logs starting on June 16th, read at home, and start earning prizes on June 23rd. (Note: You may sign up for Summer Reading at any point in the program, though the sooner you register, the sooner you can earn prizes!) The Youth Services Librarians will be visiting some of the local elementary schools in June to talk about Summer Reading, so you may see us in your school! This year’s theme is “Color Our World.” Summer Reading also heralds an increased need for teen volunteers. Please call the branch if you are a teen ages 14+ and are looking to volunteer!
