The Family & Friends CPR program teaches you how to perform CPR on an infant who is choking. This course is designed for family members, friends, and members of the general community who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card. *An infant is defined as a child 1 year of age or younger. Registration is required and limited to 20 participants.

Friday, February 20, 2:00 – 3:30 pmSeniors and people with disabilities are warmly welcomed to a free, in-person 90-minute emergency preparedness training provided by the Progressive Center for Independent Living, supported by a grant through the NJ Department of Human Services. Trainers Gerald “Jerry” Carbone, Renee Pfaff, and Bill Donohue will guide participants in building a personalized “Go Kit,” creating communication and evacuation plans, identifying community resources, and increasing confidence in navigating unexpected situations. Sunday, February 15, 2:00 pmFor Service Sundays, we do a family service project each 3rd Sunday of the month. This month, we will pack simple hygiene kits and make cards for people experiencing their first night in a homeless shelter. Some supplies will be provided, but please feel free to bring additional mini toiletries (such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, combs/brushes, tissues, lip balm, and/or cosmetic pouches) so we can make more kits.
