Adult Craft - Love Bug
Monday, February 9, 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Crafting can be relaxing, and when you craft together with someone, it can help build a friendship and a sense of community. Join us to create a love bug. Snacks and water will be provided. For ages 18 and up. Registration is required. 
Midday Masterpieces
Tuesday, February 10, 2:30 – 3:30 pm
Join us to create the craft you might have missed out on the previous night. The craft for this program is create a love bug. Snacks and water will be provided. For ages 18 and up. Registration is required.
Hooked-on Yarn
Thursdays, February 5, 12, 19 & 26, 10:00 – 11:00 am
Are you passionate about crafting with yarn and creating cozy, handmade masterpieces? Look no further! Our Hooked-on Yarn program is the perfect place for beginners and experienced crafters alike to come together and share their love of yarn art. For ages 16 and up.

Anti-Valentines Day Party
Friday, February 13, 4:00 – 4:30 pm
Not a big fan of Valentine’s Day? Then come to the Hollowbrook Branch for an Anti-Valentine’s Day Party! We will play games, create crafts, and make a special treat. For ages 9-15. Registration is required. 
Lunar New Year Storytime 
Tuesday, February 17, 10:00 – 10:30 am
Happy Lunar New Year! The Hollowbrook Branch will host a special Lunar New Year Storytime. We will read books, sing songs and create a special craft to celebrate the year of the horse! For ages 3 to 5.
Registration is required.
Play-Doh Challenge 
Fridays, February 6, 13, 20 & 27, 2:00 – 2:30 pm
Are you up for a challenge? The Play-Doh Challenge program will test your creativity and thinking skills while the clock ticks down. The challenges involve molding Play-Doh into whatever the challenge card instructs you to do. For ages 5-9. Registration is required.

Tax Help at the Library
Several MCLS branches are hosting free tax preparation from AARP Tax-Aide. Use the AARP Tax-Aide Locator to schedule an appointment. Search by your city or zip code to find available times at a location near you. If no appointments appear available, check back—cancellations open new slots regularly.
TrashedArt Contest
The TrashedArt Contest is back! Remake, reuse and renew the items you would recycle or throw in the trash into something unique and beautiful and rethink the usefulness of garbage. The contest celebrates Earth Day by encouraging patrons to turn ordinary trash into extraordinary art. Submit your artwork to the Lawrence Headquarters Branch between February 24th - March 3rd.
