Caregiver Support Group (Bilingual)
Tuesday, November 18, 12:00 - 1:30 pm
This is a safe space to share and to learn about ways caregivers can cope with their stress and concerns. Kat Verdi, MAT, CADDCT, facilitates and shares (in English and Spanish) many resources available; her mission is to educate, empower, and encourage. Sandwiches will be served.
Registration is required.

Este es un espacio seguro para compartir experiencias y conocer estrategias que permitan a los cuidadores manejar el estrés y las preocupaciones asociadas con su labor. La Sra. Free Coding Resources
Tuesday, November 18, 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Learn about MCLS’s free coding resources with your library card. Features: Fiero Code, LinkedIn Learning, and Amazon Web Services Training Center. Choose your own tutorials and work at your own pace. Assistance is available for beginners. Please bring your own tablet or laptop, and headphones or earbuds.

Tween & Teen Nights
Mondays, November 3, 10, 17 & 24, 7:00 pm
A weekly program where tweens and teens can have their own space to do a variety of fun activities. November 3: Super Mario Toadstool Pops; November 10: We Fell Apart Book Release Party; November 17: Wicked for Good Celebration; November 24: Stranger Things New Season Celebration.
Registration is required for each participant.
Stage-a-Story
Thursday, November 6, 10:30 am & 11:30 am
Join us for two creative drama workshops. Read it. Imagine it. Perform it. It all starts with a story... Ages 3-5 will do Go Away Big Green Monster at 10:30am and ages 6-9 will do The Big Orange Splot at 11:30 am.
Registration is required for each participant.
Mason Jar Turkey Craft
Saturday, November 22, 2:30 pm
Children ages 4 and up invited to come make a Thanksgiving turkey out of a mason jar with paint, feathers, googly eyes, and a tealight.

Reminiscence Kits
Reminiscence Kits are a wonderful new offering for families and caregivers. Each kit consists of a backpack filled with themed items (a DVD, photo/activity cards, busy bottle, and coloring kit) that can be used to ask questions and initiate conversations with loved ones affected by Alzheimer’s or other dementias. There are three available with themes of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
 
The kits are housed at the Hopewell Branch but may be placed on hold for pick up at any branch. Find them here in our catalog.
