We will be making a community Toran, a colorful doorway banner with beautiful, patterned fabric. Please register.
Caregiver Support Group (Bilingual)
Tuesday, May 12, 12:00 – 1:30 pm
This is a safe space to share and to learn about ways caregivers can cope with their stress and concerns. Kat Verdi, MAT, CADDCT, facilitates and shares (in English and Spanish) many resources available; her mission is to educate, empower, and encourage. Snacks will be provided. Registration is required.

Este es un espacio seguro para compartir experiencias y conocer estrategias que permitan a los cuidadores manejar el estrés y las preocupaciones asociadas con su labor. La Sra. Kat Verdi, MAT, CADDCT, dirige la sesión y ofrece (en inglés y en español) diversos recursos disponibles. Su misión es educar, empoderar y brindar aliento a los cuidadores. Se ofrecerán refrigerios. Es necesario inscribirse previamente con la librería. 
Karaoke Hour

It’s all good fun! No matter what your singing ability, you’re bound to find an appreciative audience here at Hickory Corner Branch! Be sure to bring a list of songs you’d like to sing. Please register.

Marvel Mania
Saturday, May 2, 2:30pm
Calling all young fans of the Marvel Universe. Children, tweens and teens ages 4-17 are invited to join us for Marvel Mania! We will create our own comic books, make a Marvel-themed snack, play Marvel trivia, and talk about our favorite Marvel characters. It will be sure to be a “Marvel”ous time! Registration is required for each participant. 
Calming Crafts: Mindfulness for Kids
Tuesday, May 12, 4:30 pm
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Children and tweens ages 4-12 are invited to come make crafts that help with emotional regulation and mindfulness. These crafts include fidget bracelets, calm down glitter jars, and breathing sticks. Registration is required for each participant. 
Tween & Teen Night: Make Book Page Flowers
Monday, May 18, 7:00 pm
Tweens and teens ages 9-17 are welcome to come learn how to make flowers out of old book pages. Registration is required for each participant.
