Aging with Dignity:
Five Wishes for Advance Care Planning
Tuesday, June 2, 6:30 – 7:30 pm
Learn about the benefits of Advance Care Planning, which involves discussing and documenting end-of-life healthcare preferences ahead of time. Receive a complimentary copy of Five Wishes, a document template created by the non-profit organization Aging with Dignity. Presented by Paul Knight, who is certified by Aging with Dignity to give talks on advance care planning and Five Wishes. He is also the facilitator of the Transition to Retirement group at the Center for Modern Aging in Princeton.

Historic Local Resources
Tuesday, June 9, 7:00 – 8:00 pm
Using our free MCLS resources and your library card, learn about the history of you through both genealogy tools and local newspaper archives dating back to 1846. Includes: Ancestry, Fold3, Heritage Quest, Heritage Hub (new!), Hightstown Digital Newspaper Archive, Trenton Times Archives, & the Trentonian Archives. Please bring your own tablet or laptop. Please register.
Karaoke Hour
Thursday, June 18, 2:30 – 3:30 pm
It s all good fun! No matter what your singing ability, you re bound to find an appreciative audience here at Hickory Corner Branch! Be sure to bring a list of songs you'd like to sing. Please register.

Father's Day Keychain
Saturday, June 13, 11:30 am
Children ages 2 and up, tweens and teens are welcome to make a keychain as a Father's Day gift. Registration is required for each participant. 
Stage-a-Story:
Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs
Wednesday, June 24, 4:00 pm
Creative drama workshop for ages 5-8. The workshop begins with warm-up exercises to help the participants focus and prepare to act. Then the presenter will read the book Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs. Participants will create a prop, costume piece, or set piece to help tell the story. The workshop culminates in the participants acting out the story.
Registration is required for each participant.
Concert with Tim Hoh Music for Kids
Monday, June 29, 10:30 am
Every Monday during the summer reading program we will host a children's musical performer.  To kick things off we have Tim Hoh Music for Kids! Whether performing for toddlers or a room full of punk rockers, Tim Hoh entertains with a great sense of enthusiasm and heart. His acoustic performances are filled with kids classics, original songs, and lots of dad jokes. It's wholesome, high-energy fun for the whole family! Registration
is required for each participant.

Summer Reading Program: Unearth A Story
The Mercer County Library System (MCLS) invites readers of all ages to dig into a summer of discovery with its 2026 Summer Reading Program, “Unearth a Story,” taking place from June 15 through August 8. This year’s theme encourages participants to explore hidden worlds, discover something new, and connect with stories that inspire curiosity and imagination. Learn more here.
