Is It AI?
Tuesday, April 7, 7:00 – 8:00 pm
You may not be able to completely avoid AI, but by using critical thinking, you can discern between factual results and LLM “hallucinations” to use this technology as a supplement. This presentation highlights AI’s current skill levels and several MCLS databases that incorporate it as an option when initiating a search. You will also learn best practices. Please register.
College Funding Info Session

Paint a Super Mario Canvas
Saturday, April 11, 2:30 pm
Children ages 4 and up are welcome to come make a Super Mario painting on a canvas. Children will have the choice to make a power-up mushroom, fire flower, question block, or a super star. Stencils will be provided. Please dress accordingly. Registration is required for each participant. 
Play with Poetry
Tuesday, April 14, 4:30 pm
April is National Poetry Month. Elementary school-aged children are invited to come explore different forms of poetry in a fun and playful way!
Registration is required for each participant. 
Library Joy Storytime
Tuesday, April 21, 10:30 am
National Library Week is April 19-25 and this year’s theme is “Find Your Joy.” Children ages 2-5 are welcome to come experience library joy at storytime!  We will read I’m So Happy You’re Here: A Celebration of Library Joy by author and librarian Mychal Threets. Registration is required for each participant.
