Adult Chess Club
Mondays, May 5 & 19, 6:30 pm
Drop in for a friendly game of chess! All levels of experience welcome. Ages 16 and over. Please note there will be no instructor present.

Guided Meditation and Sound Bowl Healing
Thursday, May 22, 6:30 pm
May is National Meditation Month! Realign your mind, body, and spirit as you go on a mindful journey with a tranquil sound healing session. The crystal sound bowl will ease your stress while the guided meditation relaxes your body, putting you in a restful state of mind. Please bring a blanket, pillow, or mat to be comfortable during this session. Presented by Nicole Dietz, guided meditation and sound healing coach, and certified yoga instructor. Registration is required.

Sing Along with Miss Amanda
Friday, May 16, 10:30 am
Children, of all ages, are invited to come sing and dance with Miss Amanda. Registration is required.
Read to Chloe
Saturday, May 17, 10:00 - 11:00 am
Children, ages 5 and up, accompanied by an adult, are invited to come and practice reading to our therapy dog. Each reader will have a 15 minute session at 10am, 10:15am, 10:30am, or 10:45am. 
Registration is required.
Sing Along with Miss Sarah
Friday, May 30, 10:30 am
Children, of all ages, are invited to come sing and dance with Miss Sarah.

The Art of Forest Bathing

Monica Shah will explore the history and background of shinrin-yoku, the meditative practice of forest bathing.

Jeanne Johnson, docent at the Princeton University Art Museum as well as Morven Museum and Gardens, explores the beautiful depictions of spring in famous artworks.

Brian Rose, a professor emeritus at Fordham University, will examine the extraordinary achievements of Carl Reiner and Mel Books in the entertainment industry.

Join Kathleen Masterson, a licensed professional counselor with Princeton House Behavioral Health, to explore the concept of mindfulness, including an opportunity to practice some mindfulness techniques.

The Millham Secession and Other Dissatisfactions

Dennis Waters, former Lawrence Township historian, details how the neighborhood of Millham, located at the southern end of Lawrence Township, seceded to form Millham Township in 1882.
