Community "Tapestry of Dreams"
As part of our Town-Wide Read program, we would love to have you stop by and put your "two threads" worth into our community weaving project. No previous experience in weaving is needed. The tapestry we weave will (we hope) become an Irish landscape. The wishing tree in the picture will represent the wishes we all have for our |
library. In addition to weaving, please leave a note expressing your hopes and ideas for the library as it grows into this century. |

Celebrate the Irish of North Attleboro
In our downstairs "gallery" we are displaying pictures of some Irish and Irish-American people from North Attleboro. Some of these people -- Joe Martin, Frank Kelley, Robert Toner -- are famous while some are just regular people who have been part of the "warp and woof" of the tapestry of North Attleboro. Stop by to read about these people and please add your own relatives to the story.

This month we resume our story time schedule, in hopes that the snow is finally finished for the year! We will have several Irish-themed programs this month, crafts and story times. On Saturday, March 21, at 11 am, please join us for Tea and Tales in the Reading Room. Gathered around the fireplace, we'll sip tea, eat Irish bread and hear some wonderful Irish tales (true and otherwise) . Be sure to join us for "elevenses." It will be lovely! All ages. Caed Mile Failte!
