Kid's Minecraft Play Come play Minecraft with us! All you need is a Minecraft Bedrock account and a compatible device (Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows 10, Console, or VR Gear).
Both experienced and new players are welcomed but our Minecraft Club platform space is limited to 10 players.
Open World / Build Session for ages 10-15.

Detective Pikachu Movie
Celebrate the end of "Video Game Week" with a showing of Detective Pikachu! "Ace detective Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, prompting his 21-year-old son, Tim, to find out what happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry's former Pokémon partner, wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth Detective Pikachu. Finding that they are uniquely equipped to work together, as Tim is the only human who can talk with Pikachu, they join forces to unravel the tangled mystery." Snacks will be provided! Traveling Lantern Show The Quest for the Kakapo! A Caterpillar Hunter expedition! Crikey! Join the Caterpillar Hunter on another exciting adventure as he travels around the world to rescue a rare endangered parrot known as the Kakapo, from New Zealand. His globe trotting quest teaches him (and the audience) about the many efforts underway to preserve precious habitats and protect the endangered species that live in them. Starting on Memorial Day, the library will be closed on Sundays and closing at 3:00 pm on Saturdays in July & August. We will be closed on Thursday, July 4th. Message from our Children’s Librarian: Spend the summer with CDPL! We have programs, events and prizes for all ages during our exciting & adventurous summer. Where in the world has Flat Tommy Tree Tops been? Come in and see! Or if you have seen him along his adventures, send us a picture at cdplkids@dillonlibrary.org and get a prize! Summer Reading Program: "Adventure Begins at your Library” Register and record all your Summer Reading (plus audiobooks you have listened) and get Rewarded! Summer reading programs encourage school children to read during their summer vacation, use their local library, and develop the habit (and love) of reading. This year’s theme “Adventure Begins at your Library” ties in with the theme of adventure & outdoors. Check out what events and programs are in store for you! Track your reading and win prizes all throughout the summer! Have you signed up at Readsquared? Paper logs are available at our Children's desk. The Bernards High School Summer Reading List is out! Stop by our YA section (upstairs) and get your teen a copy. Also available to check-out as audiobooks & e-books via our website www.dillonlibrary.org Tumblebooks have been added to our kids page, as well as to the Research Databases page under Young Readers, E-books, and Books and Literature. TumbleBooks are Story Books – Chapter Books/Read-Alongs – Non Fiction stories, plus Language Learning videos, puzzles & games created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music, and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, have your child read, or have it read to them.
