Clarence Dillon Public Library Celebrates 250 years of American Independence
 As we prepare to celebrate our country's 250th anniversary, We also want to look back at our local history. The Clarence Dillon Public Library has digitized many of our historical photographs. As November is election month, let's take a look at the Poll Book for the Bedminster Township election held on November 7,1893 listing the names and towns of the 404 residents who cast ballots that day. The colder months bring a fresh start, a new chance to pursue your goals and focus on what you hope to accomplish. Making a vision board will help you put a picture to these thoughts, and leave you with a work of art to motivate and inspire you! Using paper, stickers, magazines, and your own creative flair, you'll make something beautiful to give you a new chance to become your best self. All materials will be provided! Feel free to bring your own images if you have specific goals to add to your board. Presented by Collage and Zine artist Kara DJ.

Bedminster Police Dept. Detective Brian Smith on The Risk Of Home Deed Theft

He will cover the growing problem for homeowners whereby criminals identify a target home, then forge the owner's signature on the deed and sell the home to a third party.

Women's Forum
 On Thursday November 6, WF travels to the Brooklyn Museum for "Monet and Venice", the first exhibition to focus on Monet's Venetian paintings and the artist's late career. 
Bus leaves Dillon Library, Bedminster NJ at 9am. Return pick-up at 3pm.  Admission $45. (Does not include museum entry.)

The Friends of the Clarence Dillon Public Library are thrilled to welcome Tim Bouverie, the acclaimed author of Allies at War, a landmark history of the alliance that won the war and made the peace. Allies at War is a fast-paced, narrative history, based on material drawn from over a hundred archives. Using vivid, first-hand accounts and unpublished diaries, we enter the rooms where the critical decisions were made while going beyond the confines of the Grand Alliance.
Tim Bouverie is the author of the Sunday Times bestseller Appeasing Hitler: Chamberlain Churchill and the Road to War, which was shortlisted for the Orwell Prize. He studied history at Christ Church Oxford and was the 2020-21 Alistair Horne Fellow at St Antony’s College, Oxford.

Let’s Talk Diabetes: Prediabetes, Type 1, and Type 2 Explained

In celebration of Diabetes Awareness Month, please join us as Registered Nurses LaShanta Dawkins and Amanda Knowles break down the basics of Diabetes in simple terms. They will discuss Prediabetes, how Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes differ, and what signs to look for. You’ll also learn small, but meaningful changes that can make a big difference in preventing or managing diabetes.
