A Message from our Children’s Librarian: Happy New Year! Hoping you & your families had a great, relaxing holiday filled with new books to read! Here's an idea for the new year: why not try an audiobook for you and your child to listen to? Pop one in as you take the kids to school, listen while on a long road trip, or just about anytime you are all in the car. We have lots of audiobooks on CD for the car, plus tons of downloadable e-books on our website: My high school son & I just finished listening to "ECHO" by Pam Munez Ryan -- now it's become our new thing! Give it a try!! ______________________________ Last month's contest: How many Duplo were in our jar? Ask our winners: Kamila and Joah. They received tickets to see The Growing Stage’s Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and a Book Bundle Prize Pack from our library. Winning guess: 100 duplos! ______________________________ Teen Community Service Opportunities are available at our library. Display your collection with us. Do you have a special talent? Do you do origami? Can you help teach kids how to make paper airplanes or friendship bracelets? Reach out to myself, your Children's Librarian at mprovini@dillonlibrary.org for more details about our Teen Community Service Opportunities.
