Dallas Public Library is partnering with the Texas Children in Nature Network to provide Library Explorer Adventure Packs available for checkout at six library branches.
The LEAP kits include field guides, books, tools and equipment to use as you explore the outdoors. Kit themes include pollinators, fossils, birds, insects, fish, outdoor skills building and wildlife tracking. Plus, if you take the kit to Cedar Hill State Park or Ray Roberts State Park, you get two free admissions! (Children 12 and under are always free.)
LEAP kits are available at Hampton-Illinois, Mountain Creek, Renner Frankford, Skyline, Vickery Park and White Rock Hills branches. Sponsored by the Texas Department of State Health Services and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. |
