Author Visit - Triumph Over Destiny by Peladija Woodson-Diers Thursday, April 16th at 6:30 pm in the ICN Room Triumph Over Destiny is a compelling story of survival, great courage, love, and one's destiny. Peladija Woodson-Diers' mother, Karoline, as did all of Austria, knew of Hitler's rise and how his Nazi force had invaded, then annexed their beloved country. Little did they know, in 1938, that Hitler's rise to power was the beginning of the all-out terror, destruction, horror, and death that became World War II. Come hear Peladija Woodson-Diers talk about how fate came to her mother, Karoline Rink in July of 1938. Limited books will be available for purchase & signing. Movie Night Thursday, April 23rd at 6:00 pm in the ICN Classroom This month we’ll be showing a 2013 Documentary about Inventor Tim Jenison who seeks to understand the painting techniques used by Dutch Master Johannes Vermeer. (PG-13/80 min). Recommended for ages 17 & up.
