Family Day at the Library |

Six Middlesex County Library branches will be open special hours on
Monday, February 16, and they’re planning a day full of family-friendly fun. All open locations will feature a Family Storytime at 10:30 a.m. and a door prize draw. The EarlyON team will also be hosting a drop-in program at 11:00 a.m. at five branches. Be sure to contact your library directly to find out about any additional activities planned for the day. |

Centre for Equitable Library Access
CELA is an accessible reading service, providing books and other materials to Canadians with disabilities that impact their ability to read traditional books. Middlesex County Library partners with CELA to offer our patrons access to books, magazines, newspapers and described videos in a choice of formats including audio, braille and accessible eBooks. No documentation is required to use the CELA collection; patrons can self-identify their need.

Seniors Connect: Thorndale
Seniors Connect is digital literacy series focused on learning for older adults. Each week we will cover a different technology topic, develop skills, and build confidence with devices.
Where: Thorndale Library, 21790 Fairview Road
When: Thursdays at 10am, beginning February 5
Participants can bring their own phone or tablet, or a limited number of iPads are available to be borrowed by program participants; you will be asked when registering.

Kinder Connect Evening Drop-In
Is your child entering Junior Kindergarten in September 2026 or currently enrolled in Junior Kindergarten? Join us for this new monthly evening drop-in program starting January 2026!
Children will have the opportunity to meet new friends, participate in fun and engaging activities, and enjoy songs and stories—all thoughtfully planned to support a confident and successful transition to school.
This program is available to Middlesex County residents only.
Locations: Parkhill, Ilderton, River Heights (Dorchester), Strathroy, Lucan and Glencoe.
