PA Day Programs
Many of our branches are offering programs or activities on the January 17th PA Day. Please note that some programs might run at specific times or require registration. To learn what's happening near you, visit our online event calendar or contact your local branch.

Seniors Connect
The Seniors Connect series of virtual programs are focused on learning and creating for adults 60 and older. Supplies for all programs are provided by the library, and will be made available for pick-up at your local branch. A limited number of iPads are available to be borrowed by program participants. ASL Now Available from Mango
We are excited to offer our patrons access to ASL Inside through Mango Languages! To get started, login to the Mango Languages app or website and select American Sign Language from the language list.

Family Literacy Day
Family Literacy Day takes place every January 27th to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family.

Join us on Family Day! Select branches will be open special hours and offering a Family Storytime at 10:30am, followed by an EarlyON led activity at 11:00am. Open 10:00am-2:00pm: Dorchester, Glencoe, Komoka, Lucan and Parkhill*. Open 9:00am-2:00pm: Strathroy
*The EarlyON activity will not be available in Parkhill. |

Is your child entering into Kindergarten in September 2025? We have two programs intended to support you and your child in successfully transitioning to school. Both programs require registration. Kinder Connect
Meet new friends, participate in fun & engaging activities, enjoy songs & stories and ask educators questions about successfully transitioning to kindergarten. Early developmental screening also available with trained staff.

Ready Set Learn
A four week program that offers a variety of activities that will support your child in transitioning to school. As well, caregivers are able to engage in conversations with our educator on a variety of learning and development topics. |
