Homework Help!
 
Students with a Palatine Public Library District card have access at home to homework help resources on the Palatine Library website.
 
From the Library’s home page at www.palatinelibrary.org, students can go to the Kids page and from there to the Homework Help section.  Here they will find:
 
Student Resources in Context, an extensive data base for upper elementary grades. This is like an entire library online. Subject requests lead to encyclopedia and magazine articles, primary sources, and audio and video material if available.
 
For younger students, National Geographic Kids has videos, pictures, books, and magazines about nature and animals.
 
Brainfuse Help Now is a free tutoring service that provides one-to-one homework help, skills building, test preparation, and writing assistance. Live tutoring assistance is available daily from 2-11 p.m.

Saturday, November 12, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Treat yourself to an afternoon of educational fun by building a Q-Ba-Maze marble run, a Tinkertoy vehicle, a Magformers 3-D shape, or a Learning Resources gears array.
