Hybrid Teen Book Club Tuesday, August 12 at 6 p.m. Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center and Online Join us for our Hybrid Teen Book Club. Three Forsyth County Public Library branches -- Clemmons Branch, Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center, and Southside Branch -- host this book club, and teens can be part of the club in person at one of the branches or virtually via Zoom. Teens will read and discuss a different book or graphic novel every month. Copies of each month's selection will be available at each branch. August's selection is As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow by Zoulfa Katouh. Registration is required via our online calendar. Teens who register for the virtual event will receive a link to the Zoom meeting on the day of the event.

Sharks: An Entrepreneurship Workshop for Teens Monday, August 25 at 5 p.m. Forsyth County Central Library's Makerspace Do you have a million-dollar idea? Come to Sharks: An Entrepreneur Workshop for Teens. You’ll learn about starting a business, work in teams to develop a concept for a product, practice your presentation, and then pitch your product in a shark-tank style competition. Small prizes and snacks for all! Program recommended for teens ages 12-18. Registration is required via our online calendar.
