Meet our New Online Catalog - Coming July 2:
 
To better serve you, in just a few short days - on July 2, 2019 - the Berkeley Public Library will launch a new catalog system. We can't wait for you to experience all the new features our online catalog will offer. Learn more, here.

Once we launch the new catalog you may have questions. We will have an online help section on our website and you can always ask any Library staff member for assistance. We are here to help!

Reminder: LAST CHANCE to Download Reading Lists & History
Some Library patrons have “opted in” to saving their reading history and/or have created reading lists in the Library's current online catalog. 

With the new online catalog, there will be enhanced options to build and share lists, but old lists and reading history from the current system cannot be imported. All Libraries making this catalog transition have experienced this.

Want to save those lists to your own device? 
Follow these directions to save the lists. Need help? Just ask Library staff. Downloads must be completed by June 28.

Note: Any holds you've placed WILL carry over to the new catalog.

Summer Reading for ALL AGES is underway at the Library. In our first weekend over 1,000 patrons signed up (a 25% increase from opening weekend last year!)

Join in on the fun! Check out reading suggestions, game cards and prizes and many free programs offered all summer long.
