ADULTING 
Car Care
Wednesday, November 7. 4:30-6 pm

IN THE MIDDLE 
Writing is the theme for November.
Wednesday's at 3:00 pm for kids in grade 6+.
In the Middle  – National Novel Writing Month.
Make the pledge to write a novel this month with other teens in the area online. Register for the Hershey Public Library classroom at https://ywp.nanowrimo.org - classroom code CYRVIWQL
 
Week one, Wednesday, November 7: Games: Play various writing games such as story blocks to get into the groove of writing an entire novel this month! 
Week two, Wednesday, November 14: Art: This month, tell your own story or create your own game of life! Stop by to create and illustrate your own finger labyrinth story or game using a variety of crafty supplies. As usual, we will open the creative box and see what stories and games you create.
Week three, Wednesday, November 21: Writing: National Novel Writing hangout – meet other novel-writers working on getting novels this month.  
Week four, Wednesday, November 28: Creativity: Book trailers. You've written a book, now make a book trailer for it. Even if you haven't, choose a book you love and make a trailer for it!

USCF CHESS TOURNAMENT
Saturday, November 3. 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
This is a USCF rated chess tournament open to chess players of all ages and skill levels. Young players and players new to rated chess tournaments are welcome and encouraged to participate! 
3 rounds with players in Quad sections based on rating and age.
Current United States Chess Federation (USCF) membership is required. (Sign up for USCF at www.uschess.org)

For girls in grade 6 and higher.  
Activities are available for girls with ZERO computer science experience all the way up to activities that introduce college-level concepts. Register here.
Chess Club
Saturday, November 10, 17 and 24 from 1:30-3:00 pm
Club meets year round.
Whether you have never played before, or have played for years, match up with an opponent to learn more, hone your skills, maybe make a new friend. And have fun! Registration is not required.
