Fort Myers Regional Library Upcoming Virtual Genealogy Program May 2025
Good Afternoon: Here is our next virtual genealogy program for May 2025. I’ve included the registration link in the program description below. All library programs are free and open to the public. If for any reason, you have difficulty in registering, please email me and I will register you and send the confirmation back to you.
Program Description: Death is an inevitable fact of life. For genealogists this is an issue that is a constant source of stress. “What do I do with all my stuff? Nobody wants it!” Connie Lizak will share examples from her own family history on how you might preserve your family history for future researchers and generations. Some of the examples Connie will discuss and share are items such as personal diaries and journals, Great-grandmother Koser's quilt, family Bibles, Aunt Ethel's stories, compiled research, family recipes, letters and photographs.

Please note that even though a similar program was given in April at the Lee County Genealogy Society monthly meeting, Connie has emphasized they every time she presents this popular program, there are always new variations that are added. Because of its importance, this is a topic of great importance to all genealogists.
