Introduction to the basic principles of art, including color, line, shape, and form. Workshops are designed to help students develop a foundation for learning art that
will prepare them for more advanced skills.

For children ages 6-12.

Join the Davis Origami Group and practice the art of paper folding. Please note that the first 30 minutes of the class are for beginners and instruction will be provided; the rest of the time is for intermediate and advanced folders.

A friendly introduction to the basics of
four selected events. Debate events include Parliamentary and Public Forum (PF).
Speech events include Impromptu and Extemporaneous.

Join us for an afternoon of creativity. Take old jigsaw puzzle pieces and turn them into a work of art! All supplies will be provided.

2025 is the Year of the Snake. The Snake is the sixth animal in the 12-year cycle, and is associated with wisdom, charm, elegance, and transformation.

Celebrate Lunar New Year with lion dance, music, crafts, and more! 

Learn about the bits and bytes of Python from experienced high school students during this workshop, hosted by the DHS Coding Club.

Students will need:

* A laptop (please email us if one is needed)

* Basic typing skills

* Replit account - an online tool that we use to teach and practice code in a sandbox-like environment

The Good Dinosaur 

This visually beautiful, emotionally authentic tale about a young dinosaur who experiences loss and struggles to find his way home will entrance both kids and adults. Rated PG for peril, action, and thematic elements.

The Wild Robot 

After a shipwreck, an intelligent robot
called Roz is stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment,
Roz bonds with the island's animals and
cares for an orphaned baby goose.

How cute is that??? Rated PG for peril,
action, and thematic elements.

Join us for a lap-sit program for babies ages
0 to 18 months and their caregivers, followed by a Stay-and-Play. We will share songs, lullabies, fingerplays, and board books! The program is held indoors, in the Blanchard Room and is offered in two-month sessions.

Music, movement, rhymes, books, and the inimitable Miss Sue! This early learning program for toddlers and their grown-ups helps young children develop language skills, social and emotional skills, general knowledge about the world, and a love of learning. 

In inclement weather the program moves inside, into the Blanchard Room.

Join us for hours of creation, design, and play with LEGO Bricks! Parents/caregivers are encouraged to stay and play alongside their children. Small parts - not recommended for children under 3.

Free homework help with volunteer teen tutors. All school subjects are welcome, including reading practice. No registration required.
