Crowns Tea Saturday, February 10, 2:00pm - 4:00pm Northwest LibraryThick Descriptions' Signature Event, The Crowns Tea, celebrates the rich tradition of church hats and is a tribute to the book, "Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats" by Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry. All attendees are encouraged to wear a fancy hat, their "Sunday Best" attire and prepare to enjoy amazing food, tea, and learn about various human experiences. *This event is held at multiple locations.
