The Ontario Planetarium presents: Tour of the Universe - Cobourg Tuesday, July 2nd Show Times Between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Tour constellations, the Northern Lights, and go on a thundering rocket launch into Earth orbit before visiting planets, moons, comets, stars, black holes, and galaxies. Everyone welcome. Be advised that the planetarium dome uses floor seating. If you have mobility concerns and require accommodation, please note this at the time of your registration. Each show lasts 20 minutes. Please book the time slot you would like to attend. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian if attending. Kid Librarian Program - All LocationsOnline application form opens Saturday, June 1st.We are looking for Cobourg Public Library members who like to read and who would like to share their favourite books with the community, by creating a special Kid Librarian book display. Ages 6-12 years. Youth Services Department How To Apply: Submit an online application form: https://forms.cobourg.ca/Library/Kid-Librarian-Application. The application will ask for your name, age, contact information, when you are available to create a display, and for a list of some of the junior fiction and/or junior non-fiction titles that you would like to share. Applicants will be randomly selected to become the next Kid Librarian.

Take a test to discover where your dominance lies. Create a sculpture to investigate how throwing a ball affects your balance. Friendly Reminder Pre-Overdue Email Can you remember when your items are due? Would you like to save on fines, and possibly never have overdue items again? Of course you would! To sign up, simply provide a valid email address for staff to add to your membership. You will receive an email 3-days before an item is due, giving you time to renew it (if no one is waiting) or bring it back to the Library.

Period Promise - Help end period poverty We are proud to be a distribution and donation point for The Period Promise which is a collaborative effort between United Way and Thrive Northumberland to help eliminate period poverty. If you're interested in donating period products or are in need, please talk to staff or head to one of our washrooms. You can drop off your period product donations to our Cobourg Branch. Led locally by Thrive Northumberland and Northumberland United Way. Each donation will be used to provide access to period products throughout Northumberland.
