How the Cobourg Public Library has evolved to serve you over the last 30 years
| Children's Department |
On Chapel Street, the Children's Library was in a separate space, and had different open hours from the Adult Library. When we moved to Ontario Street, we were able to offer a bright open space, a comfy window seat, children's game computers and a dedicated Program Room,
Today, we offer a variety of special collections including: VOX Books, Decodable Readers, Discovery Backpacks, Jigsaw Puzzles, and Borrow and Build LEGO kits. There are Board Games, a train table and two iPads with educational games for children to play, learn and enjoy.
