Special Collection Feature
| | Grow with Us: The Seed Library is Back! 🌱
March is here, and at the Cobourg Public Library, we are celebrating our Seed Library as this month's Special Collection focus. Whether you have a sprawling backyard or a few pots on a sunny balcony, we invite you to help our community bloom.
The Seed Library is a free community resource that encourages local sustainability and the joy of gardening. It’s as simple as:
Borrow: Visit us during open hours, beginning Saturday, March 14th to "check out" a variety of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds using your CobourgPL card.
Grow: Take them home, plant them, and enjoy the fruits (and flowers!) of your labour.
Share: If you’re able, harvest and dry some seeds from your healthiest plants at the end of the season and return them to the library to keep our collection growing for next year. |
Help Us Grow This March! 🌱 |
This March, your donations will directly help us refresh these special collections and keep our book stacks thriving. As we celebrate the return of our Seed Library this month, your support ensures that all our "seeds" of knowledge—both digital and physical—continue to flourish. Every dollar stays right here in our community to help your neighbours learn and grow.
Your generosity keeps our library vibrant. To make a donation or learn more about how you can support our special collections, please contact: Jocelyn 📞 905-372-9271 ext. 6249
