RCLS Plan of Service Focus Groups

RCLS can't develop the next five-year Plan of Service without your input to guide our future. We’ve scheduled a series of focus groups for library trustees, directors, managers, and staff starting in August 2025 and running through October 2025. Your participation is vital—your insights will help shape the direction of RCLS services and priorities.

Please ensure that we hear from you; register for one of the sessions designated for your role with the library via the
Calendar – Ramapo Catskill Library System

If you're seeking relief from the Summer heat, try one of these recommendations from the Bookwerm... A legal thriller, a historical fiction family saga, a story of unexpected family, or a funny but poignant story about a pre-wedding week - take your pick!

Centennial Concert at Cragsmoor Free Library

As part of the celebrations of the library's 100-year anniversary, a special evening of 'old-time' tunes from the 1920's and beyond delighted
a full house on Saturday, August 16th.
The Saints of Swing quartet performed both toe-tapping selections and evocative wartime ballads for the rapt and appreciative attendees.
Costumed Board and audience members added to the festivities, and a sumptuous buffet & beverage bar added to the "speakeasy" vibe.
Joining the band as a guest vocalist on several tunes, librarian-chanteuse April Marl, charmed the crowd with melodies from bygone eras...
A truly memorable event
in all respects!!
