Centennial Concert at Cragsmoor Free Library As part of the celebrations of the library's 100-year anniversary, a special evening of 'old-time' tunes from the 1920's and beyond delighted a full house on Saturday, August 16th. The Saints of Swing quartet performed both toe-tapping selections and evocative wartime ballads for the rapt and appreciative attendees. Costumed Board and audience members added to the festivities, and a sumptuous buffet & beverage bar added to the "speakeasy" vibe. Joining the band as a guest vocalist on several tunes, librarian-chanteuse April Marl, charmed the crowd with melodies from bygone eras... A truly memorable event in all respects!!
