COMMUNITY NEWS

 CONGRATULATIONS ON A MILESTONE!

We are so pleased to share in celebration of a library career spanning 50 Years...

January 23rd marked a
very special anniversary.
Joan Booth began working at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Library on that date in 1973!

As shared by her colleagues, Joan is
"our sassy, one-of-a-kind, tough cookie, book-reviving,
dear friend..."

What a marvelous treat to
applaud this wonderful Octogenarian employee who is still going strong and making the library a special place for the community!!

A Brew & Bingo

blast!

Over 100 people attended
Brew & Bingo Night 🍺 at
Defiant Brewery Company in
Pearl River, NY in January.
First introduced in July of 2022, this free community event included one bingo board per person and one beverage. The night featured prizes, gift basket and laughs with friends! The evening was hosted by Orangeburg, Tappan,
and Palisades libraries.
