A Special Celebration! Jean Currie, LTA President, (in the pink jacket) came to Monticello to present the Velma K. Moore award from the Library Trustee Section of NYLA to Lynn Skolnick. The Velma K. Moore Award is one that LTA presents to a volunteer person or organization who has made exemplary contributions to library services. The special event took place at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library on December 12th, 2023. On hand to extend their congratulations were many familiar faces including: (from left) Joanna Goldfarb, RCLS Sustainability Consultant; Martha Anderson, former RCLS Trustee and LTA Liaison for the Board; Helen Rados, RCLS Trustee; Melanie Olson, retired E.B.
