Congratulations to Kayla Whidbee of
 
Finkelstein Memorial Library! 
 
 
The RCLS Board of Trustees has awarded the RCLS
Spring 2023 Professional Development Scholarship
to Ms. Whidbee to assist with her studies
at Louisiana State University
 
As Kayla states in her application, 
"My love for librarianship, commitment to personal and professional growth,
and enthusiasm to lead is why I am pursuing my MBA.  
Receiving this scholarship will help me achieve my future plan
and long-term goal, as a department head or a director."
She extends thanks to the RCLS Board for their support and generosity.

Goshen Library Director
Catherine Lemmer
 
Known for her collaborative team approaches to library services, Lemmer has worked in the legal and academic fields, in addition to public libraries. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of the Lake Forest Library in Lake Forest, Illinois.
 
Catherine is excited to join the team in Goshen NY and looks forward 
to learning more about the community 
and buiding relationships with the

Nyack Library Director
Eric McCarthy
 With twenty years of professional experience working in public libraries,
most recently managing the print and digital collections for The Greenwich Library, McCarthy's background includes working as a teen librarian in NYC,
an electronic resources librarian for
The United States Army in Germany, and an automation coordinator for the
Mid-Hudson Library System.
 
Mr. McCarthy commented, “I am very excited to have the opportunity to work in this prestigious library.  I look forward to contributing to this wonderful community.”

member libraries on loan from RCLS!  
Cricut® makes smart cutting machines that work with an easy-to-use app to help you design and personalize almost anything. While at RCLS, participants will have the opportunity to explore additional items RCLS loans out to member libraries such as the mobile circ, AccuCut dies, Ozobots, and more!
Participants will earn 2 CE credits.
