Living Through Momentous Times
The New York State Library Manuscripts and Special Collections (MSC) has announced the COVID-19 Personal History Initiative. They are encouraging all New Yorkers to keep a journal documenting what their daily lives are like during the pandemic in an effort to record and preserve the unprecedented and historical events that are unfolding.
MSC asks that you consider donating your journal at a future date to the New York State Library. Your experiences may be preserved for future generations to study and learn from. More information about this initiative is available on the NYS Library website.

United for Libraries
Friends organizations can use the United for Libraries Friends listserv for the months of May and June, even if you are not a member of the American Library Association or United for Libraries. There are separate forums for Friends, library trustees, and library foundations. To get started visit the United for Libraries Friends website.
