New York State Internet Access Survey has been released to gather information about barriers and challenges to internet access and digital equity throughout New York State. The survey responses will be used to guide decisions to ensure access to high-quality and affordable internet service, devices, skills training, and digital support are available to all residents. The survey will close on June 30th. We ask you to encourage your patrons to complete the Survey. Survey participants input will be anonymous. The online survey is available in 12 languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), French, Haitian Creole, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Urdu, and Yiddish. Construction Aid Mandatory Workshop for Applicants June 16, 2023 ~ 9:30 am-12:00 pm IN PERSON RCLS Headquarters, Middletown Presenter: Stephen Hoefer, RCLS Chief Financial Officer This workshop is for Directors, Trustees and Library Administrative staff that will be directly involved in preparing the NYS Public Library Construction Aid application, and is mandatory.
