LIBRARY REFERENDUM

Tuesday, June 27th

12:00-8:00pm

92 Main St. Livingston Manor

This referendum provides the opportunity for registered voters in the Livingston Manor Central School District to vote on the library budget levy. This year the library is asking for an additional $23,735 to help catch up with personnel and technology costs incurred over the last three years. For residents of the Town of Rockland, this means just an additional $7.00/yr. per $100,000 assessment value, or less than the cost of a paperback book! As the library grows in its ability to bring programs, services, and resources to our community, we ask for your support.

Click the following highlighted links to view the proposed library budget and estimated tax contribution.

A NEW LOOK TO THE CATALOG

Starting on August 1st, you'll have access to the same library catalog, but with an entirely new look. You can expect all of the features you are used to, but they will come with a fresh and user-friendly interface. Better yet, it will be easier than ever to browse book lists, collections, and recommendations. You'll even be able to see book ratings from other patrons as well as published reviews and user written reviews from GoodReads.

For a preview, take a look at Liberty Library's catalog.

TUTOR.COM

Tutor.com is an online service offering a personal tutor to students of all types. This one-on-one tutoring service covers more than 250 subjects spanning from K-12 to adult learners. Tutors can even be found for GED test preparation, grad school test preparation, and job search assistance.
