Bailes Latinos with Debra Weiss

Bailes Latinos is a fitness-dance classes celebrating Hispanic Heritage. The class will include a warm-up, core work, stretching, and cardio dance moves from a selection of the Merengue (Dominican Republic), Samba (Brazil), Mambo or Cha-Cha (Cuba) with dance instructor and choreographer Dr. Debra Weiss. 

No previous experience is necessary. Participants should wear athletic shoes or sneakers. No partners necessary.

You have 3 minutes to share a little teaser of the books that you have read and shows that you have watched.
For every 3 books you read, you can go online to provide the title, author and your opinion - Yay, Nay, or Maybe
For every 3 books you submit, you will be entered in our Grand Finale raffle for the Book Lover's Bag.
All Adult entrants will be invited to our Grand Finale out at a surprise location on Wednesday, August 19th.

NANUET LIBRARY RENOVATION UPDATES
 
 
Our Design Development Phase is complete. Now the Renovation Project is currently under review by the New York State Office of Facilities Planning. 
 
Next steps will be: 
  • Receiving permits
  • Publishing bid notice
  • Selecting a contractor
  • Moving to a temporary location
While we cannot be sure how long these steps will take, our goal is to select a contractor and move to a temporary location in the fall. Thank you again for your support and patience as we proceed with this exciting chapter in the story of Nanuet Public Library.
