NEWS FOR TEENS The Library is a great place to hang out during spring break. We are open everyday, but regular teen programs are canceled for the week. Great events and programs for grades 6-12 are coming up this spring; see below.

Shakespeare in the Park Julius Caesar Saturday, April 4, 2-3 PM Join us at Zelinsky Park for San Francisco Shakespeare Festival’s touring production of Julius Caesar — a powerful mix of drama, emotion, and political commentary. Free snacks! Sign up for a seat.

Drop in on Del Mar Middle School's early release day for studying, games, and hanging out with friends. Free beverages and snacks are provided.

Crafts for middle school Thursdays afterschool, 4-5 PM In the Teen Workshop Students in grades 6-8 are invited for Do-It-Yourself crafts. No registration needed. Bring your friends!

In the Teen Workshop Join a book club for students in grades 6-8 that combines a love of reading, eating, and learning about global perspectives. Meet monthly on the last Monday.

In the large meeting room Students in grades 6-8 are invited to sign up for a free class to improve their speaking skills for school presentations and formal speeches. There are four consecutive sessions; please sign up for all dates.
