Library of Things News Want to see new additions in the Library of Things? Once we receive your request, staff will review the items to ensure it aligns with the Library of Things guidelines: - items that are rarely used
- items that are hard to store
- items that are expensive
Please note: we do not carry sporting gear/equipment. If the requested item aligns with the guidelines, meets the needs of the community, and we have room for it, that is when we will add it to our collection!

Lorraine Widmer-Carson Hi, I’m Lorraine. With over 10,000 hours of morning musings, I’ve been honing my writing practice since 1995. I am a seasoned journal writer, and by some measures, a master of the craft. My daily habit of thoughtful introspection and written reflection has kept me grounded in my commitments to family and community while also working in a variety of leadership roles. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I put my head down, while writing, reading, and researching the science of gratitude. In November 2021, I launched my first book. Now, I am excited and energized to continue my legacy journey by continuing to learn about and cultivate “great-fullness” and positivity in the hearts and minds of others. Let’s get your journey started, and let me be your grateful mentor and gratitude guide. With gratitude,
