New Requests Once we receive your request, staff will review the items to ensure it aligns with the Library of Things guidelines: - items that are rarely used
- items that are hard to store
- items that are expensive
Please note: we do not carry sporting gear/equipment. If the requested item aligns with the guidelines, meets the needs of the community, and we have room for it, that is when we will add it to our collection!

Sip & Stitch Thursday Evenings 7:15 - 8:30pm: For adults Knot just for knitting, come join a fiber arts social club! Share ideas, learn and connect with others in the community. Bring your current project and have some tea with us! All fiber arts are welcome, such as knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing, weaving, etc. No registration required - this is a drop in event.

Don't Leave Money on the Bar! Thursday, February 15 6:00 - 7:00pm Are you a server, a bartender, or in another service profession where you earn tips? Do you have ambitions of meaningful financial independence? Join us at Banff Public Library for an enlightening series facilitated by Allan Buckingham, centered on the book 'Tipped' by Barbara Sloan. Copies of the book will be made available to participants for the duration of the series. There will be a prize draw at the end of the fourth session!

Discover the World of Local Author Jordan Bartlett Embark on a literary journey with local author Jordan Bartlett, a Speech Language Pathologist with a passion for storytelling. Born in New Zealand and raised in Canada, Jordan draws inspiration from her diverse background. Her love for literature, coupled with a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Masters of Science in Speech and Language Pathology, has led her to craft her debut novel, "Contest of Queens," now part of the world's library.
