 After all the snow, I hope you are looking forward to March and spring as much as I am!
 
In preparation for the nicer weather ahead, we have several programs focused on birds and the outdoors. 
 
We are also excited to be welcoming back Sheryl Faye, who will be performing as Abigail Adams.
 
Lastly, we invite you to participate in one of our many groups focused on job hunting, gaming, knitting, films, and books.

Upcoming Events
No Club Book Club!
All month long!
 
Enjoy book club selections without the meeting. We will select a monthly book club selection on the first of each month; you check it out from the Library (monthly selections will be available at the circulation desk and online, if available).

Intermediate Knitting Group
Mondays throughout March at 11:00am

This group is for intermediate to advanced knitters eager to explore techniques like wrap and turn and provisional cast-on. Join us for friendly conversation, skill-building, and tackling new knitting challenges together!

Board Game Night featuring Mah Jongg Monday
Mondays throughout March at 6:30pm
 
Join us for a weekly meetup to play Board Games, including American Mah Jongg! The Library is excited to offer an assortment of board games, including card games, strategy games, party games, and Mah Jongg sets in an inviting space to play each Monday night.  
 
After a quick introduction, you'll be off and running with different fun games each week! Participants are also welcome to bring your own favorite games to share. If you would like to play Mah Jongg, please indicate this on your registration; National Mah Jongg League rules will be followed. If you already have a NMJL Card of Standard Hands and Rules, please bring it with you.

Join us for a weekly meetup to play American Mah Jongg! The Library is excited to offer Mah Jongg sets, card tables, and an inviting space to play each Wednesday morning. National Mah Jongg League rules will be followed. If you already have a NMJL Card of Standard Hands and Rules, please bring it with you.
 
Please note that no instruction will be offered during this program. Registration is required for any sessions you would like to attend; space is limited.

Summary: Unemployed Antonio Ricci (Lamberto Maggiorani) is elated when he finally finds work hanging posters around war-torn Rome. His wife, Maria (Lianella Carell), sells the family's bed linens to retrieve Antonio's bicycle from the pawnshop so he can take the job. However, disaster strikes when Antonio's bicycle is stolen, and his new job is doomed unless he can find the thief. With the help of his lively son, Bruno (Enzo Staiola), Antonio combs the city, growing increasingly desperate for justice.

I Love a Mystery Book Club

The Bluebird Restoration Project
Thursday, March 26, 7:00pm
 
James Miller, head of the Bluebird Restoration Project, will discuss this resident-led project focused on increasing the bluebird population in Billerica.
 
These dedicated individuals have installed forty-five nest boxes in Billerica that are monitored during the bluebird nesting season. Mr. Miller will review the history of their efforts, as well as how they monitor and record data.
