The Library will resume normal operations on Monday, July 6 at our temporary location at 7300 La Palma Avenue, Building 10, Buena Park, CA 90620.

Family Storytime Mon-Wed, & Saturdays (closed 7/4) July 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, 22, 25, 27, 28, 29 10:10AM-10:40AM Join us for songs and stories for kids of all ages at 10:10AM, followed by Lunch at the Library on Mon-Wed at 10:45AM. Free lunch will be provided for anyone 18 and younger, and children 12 and younger will be able to take home a free book to build their own home library. While supplies last. The last day lunch will be served is Thursday, July 23. No lunch on Fridays or Saturdays. No registration is required. Drop In Craft: Design Your Own Bookmark Monday: July 13-Wednesday July 15 all day, while supplies last Kids ages 0-12, stop by the children's room to design your own bookmark. Leave your finished bookmark with us, and we will laminate it and have it ready for pickup on July 20. Please pick up your laminated bookmark between July 20-August 8. Keep and use your special, one of a kind bookmark forever and ever. No registration is required. Caregivers must accompany children 10 years of age and younger for the entirety of this program. Plant a Seed, Read! Summer Reading Bingo Monday: July 6-Saturday: August 8 www.buenapark.beanstack.org Teens are invited to this year's Teens Summer Reading Bingo: Plant a Seed, Read. Challenge yourself to complete this fun summer activity bingo, a mix of recreational and reading based activities to make your summer more interesting! Earn tickets to enter for Grand Prizes. While supplies last, each teen who has a bingo card blackout will get a goody bag! Available for ages 12-18. The first day to pick up reading rewards will be Tuesday, July 7th. The last day to pick up reading rewards will be Saturday, September 5th.

Register on the Beanstack website (www.buenapark.beanstack.org) or free app. For each review submitted, you will receive a virtual ticket to put into a Grand Prize Drawing. Readers who complete this challenge by submitting five reviews will earn a small completion prize. Physical books, physical audiobooks, e-books, and e-audiobooks all count. *Earn an extra virtual ticket by attending our July Book Club meeting to discuss Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy.
The last day to submit reviews and enter tickets for Grand Prize drawings is August 8th. Grand Prize winners will be notified the week of August 10th.
