Black Bear Diner Reading Challenge Monday: Dec. 23 - Saturday: Jan. 11 www.buenapark.beanstack.org Kids 12 and younger, read 4 books, and log them in Beanstack for a free cub's meal at Black Bear Diner (7005 Knott Avenue location). After you've logged your 4 books, stop by the Children's Desk to pick up your meal voucher. Kids who cannot yet read can be read to. Drop In Craft: Red Envelopes Tuesday: Jan. 28 - Wednesday: Jan. 29 Children's Room, while supplies last Giving red envelopes, symbols of good luck for the new year, to family and friends is a common Lunar New Year tradition in many East Asian cultures. Drop in to decorate your own red envelopes, and put a chocolate gold coin and good wishes for your recipients inside. Then, give the red envelopes to your loved ones. Limit 3 envelopes per child. For kids ages 4-12. While supplies last. No pre-registration is required.

Snake Show Monday: January 27th at 6:30PM Second-Floor Multipurpose Room Happy Lunar New Year! 2025 is the year of the snake. Come meet and learn about snakes, including a large boa, and legless lizards from wildlife biologist Rachael Wallman. Fun for the whole family. This program will be held in the Multipurpose Room. A ticket will be required for entry. We will begin distributing tickets at the children's desk at 5:30 p.m. on the day of the program. Seating is limited. No pre-registration is required.
