PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS

American Fantasy by Emma Straub
Book Club for Adults
Thursday: Sept. 10 at 5:00PM-6:00PM
Join us to discuss American Fantasy by Emma Straub.

This book follows Annie, a newly divorced, 50-year-old empty nester who reluctantly takes a four-day nostalgic cruise aboard a ship named the American Fantasy.

She originally booked the trip to cover for her injured sister, expecting to feel completely out of place among 3,000 screaming fans devoted to the 1990s boy band "Boy Talk." However, surrounded by the music of her youth, the camaraderie of other middle-aged women, and an unexpected, vulnerable connection with one of the band members, Annie experiences a personal awakening that helps her rediscover long-forgotten joy and figure out her next chapter.

No registration is required. Ages 18+
